PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INTENSIVE FOR TEACHERS

June 9 - 13, 2025 in New York City
Monday - Friday 10 AM - 6 PM

Our Professional Development Teacher Training, now in its 7th year, is specially designed for college professors and high school and middle school teachers to learn the method and pedagogy of Moment Work and practical applications for use in classrooms to enhance their existing curricula. Participants will explore the elements of the stage, learning our teaching philosophy and practice from our Advanced Teaching Artists Scott Barrow and Ricky Pak.  

Successful graduates of the program will receive a Certificate of Training from Tectonic's Moment Work Institute, Leigh Fondakowski, MWI Chair, under the Artistic Direction of Moisés Kaufman.

 

NEW OFFERING FOR 2025:
DEVISING INTENSIVE FOR THEATER EDUCATORS

June 14 & 15, 2025 in New York City
Saturday and Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM

For teachers who have successfully completed our Professional Development Teacher Training over the past seven cycles, long-time company member and head writer of The Laramie Project, Leigh Fondakowski, guides Theater Educators through a practicum to structure their own devising processes to create new work with their students.

Tuition: $750
*Prerequisite: Professional Development Teacher Training
